1. i am obsessed with movies. more accurately, filming locations. when watching movies, i look for landmarks, notate addresses, and then compulsively search the internet for clues or tips regarding the whereabouts of key and more often, non-key scenes of my favorite movies.

2. i have been using computers since spending a summer with my dad, king nerd (he now owns a computer company out of his garage called Mobile Geeks), who got me interested in DOS, Aquanoid, Doom 2, and BBSes. i later would rack up many phone bills thanks to long distance BBS access numbers, registered user access on various boards as well as door games (Lord, Usurper, etc.), and DWANGO account costs. i also later started my own BBS which was hacked when my co-moderator formatted my hard drive.

3. i obsess over obscure celebrities (Henry Rollins, Vincent Gallo, David Cross, Philip Seymour Hoffman) and when enlightened that they live a mere 5 miles away from my house, do not hesitate to get in my car, drive there, stare in awe at the anonymous building, take pictures, and utter 'wooooooooooow' before slumping back in the car to go home and sleep as my day is now made.

4. i am an information junky. i spend hour after hour on the internet reading about one thing, only to tie into the next thing, and so on and so forth until my shift is up and i get to go home and repeat on my own free time. i like being right and i hate being wrong, so i do my best to offset the ratio in my own favor as much as possible.

5. i spend most all of my free time on the internet, be it keeping up on ohnotheydidnt and defamer on livejournal, stalking people on myspace, updating my amazon wishlist, reviewing movies on netflix, researching on imdb, watching the free section of craigslist, or pricing movie props, cheap dvds, and art on ebay. throw in a dash of camwhores, mxtabs, and seeing-stars and i'm left with little to no tiime to focus on a real hobby that would involve leaving the house or doing anything creative whatsoever.
